A Warm Welcome to Members and Visitors

'Ladder Work' - DPI of the Year 2011 - Glen Hand

The Rosanna Photographic Club (RPC) was founded in 1959.

We are a friendly group of amateur photographers spanning a variety of ages, who meet fortnightly to share photographic experiences with other like-minded individuals.

RPC has a great deal of expertise and knowledge, and can offer a high standard of advice and technical expertise to its members.

The club also has great appeal to students or absolute beginners, encouraging everyone to come and along and learn. We are more than happy to help you get the best of whatever camera you own whether you are wishing to be a serious photographer or just want to improve your holiday or family photos.

The club conducts an annual Beginners Photographers course commencing March.  It runs for 10 weeks on a Tuesday evening from 7.30-9.30pm.

Meeting Nights & Club Location

The club meets at 8pm on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday of the month.  We are located at St Pius X Church at 431 Waterdale Road, Heidelberg Heights (Melways 31 F2).  See map here.  Our meeting room is the grey roofed building at the rear of the carpark and can be seen by clicking here.

Club Meetings and Activities

These include a variety of lectures and in-house and Interclub competitions judged by numerous qualified judges.  In addition there are many activities including excursions, courses, field trips, weekends away and joint excursions in participation with our sister country club, Colac.

Rosanna has a successful history of producing award winning Audio Visuals or AVs; a creative way of combining still images with a soundtrack which may be music, a voiceover or special effects. If this is your particular field of interest then we have an active group that you may wish to join.

NB Visitors are most welcome to attend meeting nights, to see our club in action with competitions and talks on photography.
